Full Job Description
Purpose:

The pricing analyst role requires advanced analytical, critical thinking and strategic thinking skills, with a solid understanding of the Bearing markets and products. This position works closely with Sales and Channel Marketing to develop the optimal price point to maintain or win business. This position will also support enhancements to, and development of pricing reports.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Create new & enhance the current Power BI dashboards & reporting
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data, and distill it into actionable insights and relevant takeaways
  • Drive price optimization, price setting and price execution that aligns with the business strategy
  • Download and organize baseline price information, analyze and report on inconsistencies, and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through price strategies
  • Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, and market opportunities
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective price agreements
  • Perform analysis of existing transactional level data to identify price/margin erosion and assist the organization in constructing and implementing solutions
  • Ensure timely processing of pricing documentation
  • Provide analytics and feedback with appropriate and clear language
  • Support continuous improvement activities
  • Assist in development of new pricing analytics and enhanced reporting


Technical and Functional Skills:
  • Deep understanding and experience in databases and statistical software
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Financial knowledge
  • Strong computer skills - proficient in MS applications - excel, word, PPT, SAP BI, and Power BI etc.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics or similar with 4+ years post qualification experience in a related analytical role, OR a master's Degree in Business, Data Analytics or Finance
  • Level of role will be dependent upon years/level of experience and education
