Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex financial, statistical, and competitor and recommending price strategies to drive volume growth and improve profitability.
This is a
hybrid role with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday out of the office. The successful candidate will work from an office located in
Ontario (
Kitchener, Brampton, Ottawa), Alberta (Calgary) or Quebec (Anjou)Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Implements and maintains pricing infrastructures.
- Evaluates effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures and outputs as needed.
- Recommends and implements monthly price increases and coordinates with Sales and Billing for implementation.
- Collects and analyzes complex financial, statistical, and strategic information in order to maintain pricing tools and support pricing proposals.
- Creates and analyzes advanced reports for customer and route profitability.
- Provides reporting and documentation and serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales department, but not customers.
- Provides support and direction to less experienced pricing analysts.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory duties but may occasionally act as a team lead.
QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
- Financial and statistical analysis and waste industry experience required.
- Bilingual French and English considered an asset
- Waste industry experience preferred

Pay: The expected base pay range for this hybrid in Canada is $95,000.00 -$120,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for bonus. This position is not for an existing vacancy
