Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, plus 7-10 years of relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of construction principles and practices
• Proven track record managing preconstruction on diverse projects
• Experience with subcontractors and self-performed work management
• Strong leadership skills, including team development and relationship management with external partners
• Self-starter with high motivation and results orientation
• Excellent communication skills for building trust and influencing stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the bid process as 'Bid Captain' and facilitate team meetings for estimates
• Cultivate relationships with owners, subcontractors, and industry stakeholders at various events
• Oversee project budget tracking and management
• Ensure project qualifications meet contractual obligations and manage contract submissions
• Implement and manage preconstruction and construction schedules
• Train and mentor project staff while enforcing safety and EEO programs
• Organize and present all project documentation to the owner in an orderly fashion
• Contribute to design and coordination meetings with alternative solutions and design assistance
• Engage in the RFP and RFQ preparation and manage the buyout log
