  • Delivery schedules, availability, and long-term service considerations
  • Provide technical input on air permitting and emissions control strategies, including major source applicability, control technologies, and operational constraints
  • Support evaluation of power plant electrical systems, including:
  • Generator configurations, response times, and islanding capabilities
  • Medium- and high-voltage distribution
  • Grid interconnection and protection philosophies (general knowledge level)
  • Review and contribute to technical due diligence, cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments during project development
  • Support internal decision-making by clearly communicating technical tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • General understanding of power plant electrical distribution systems and grid interconnection concepts
  • Experience working with engineering firms, OEMs, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Prior involvement in projects from conceptual development through construction
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Leadership, initiative, and problem-solving skills for large-scale projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting behind-the-meter (BTM) or data center power projects
  • Familiarity with CHP, microgrids, or reliability-driven generation solutions
  • Experience evaluating availability, reliability, and redundancy strategies for mission-critical loads
  • Experience in design and calculation software (ThermoFlex, DesignBuilder, CAESAR II); MS Office
