About This JobThe Senior Portfolio Associate supports Credit and Portfolio Management within the Fund Finance portfolio, managing a portfolio of subscription credit facilities and related lending products using a risk-based approach. This role is responsible for ongoing portfolio monitoring, transaction execution support, and financial analysis, while ensuring adherence to lending policies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:- Review and validate Post Funding Covenant (PFC) audits, borrowing base certificates and loan/line advances. Escalating any complex issues or exceptions to management
- Conduct comprehensive loan reviews, collection of financial statements, financial statement spreading and the financial analysis of borrowers
- Routine monitoring of commercial credits by way of covenant tracking, servicing borrower inquires, and facilitating the gathering of essential portfolio data is essential
- Perform reporting and analysis on lending portfolio including monthly and quarterly data reports
- Maintain electronic loan files and prepares reporting on trends, ratios, and cash flow analysis
- Consult with customers to verify financial and credit transactions; respond to customer inquiries and resolves customer complaints
- Lead, develop and train Portfolio Analysts and Associates
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in portfolio management, credit underwriting, or structuring within commercial lending, preferably with exposure to fund finance or specialty finance
- Strong understanding of lending structures, financial analysis, and credit risk principles
- Experience with borrowing bases, covenants, and loan documentation
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to operate independently and manage deadlines in a high-volume environment
