THE ROLE
Are you ready to lead transformative policy initiatives that drive organizational success? Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Business Management, as a Senior Policy Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling strategic direction and ensuring PSP policies empower innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.

In this dynamic leadership position, you will:

Lead high-impact projects from concept to implementation

Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align policies with strategic goals

Ensure policies are practical, scalable, and effectively implemented across base and wing operations

Champion change management, ensuring smooth adoption of new frameworks

Influence divisional priorities through expert research, analysis, and risk-informed, evidence-based policy guidance

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Policy or related field AND some years of experience in policy writing, or a related field

Experience

In developing, evaluating, interpreting, revising and applying policies, procedures and legislation

In analyzing and synthesizing information

In researching, drafting, implementing and evaluating policies and procedures

In project management

In providing advice and guidance

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential or French Essential. Bilingual (English and French) an asset

Reading: Advanced

Writing: Functional

Oral: Advanced

OTHER INFORMATION
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
