Job Title: Senior Planner - Contract Manufacturing

Division: Consumer Products Division

Location: Florence, KY

Reports To: AVP Manufacturing Supply Chain

What You Will Do:

Work in collaboration with internal and external partners to establish a realistic short- and long-term plan considering the demand and all constraints. Understanding, challenging as needed to get to the root cause of issues. Influence cross functional teams to ensure realization of plans and commitments. Supporting the contract manufacturer in all their supply chain business needs from inventory management, supply chain mapping, production mapping, commitments and delivering their commitments while meeting internal key production indicators, having strategic performance reviews and agility goals.

Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Manageand be the sole owner of acatalog ofcruisingSKUsand multiple contract manufacturingpartnerships.
  • Develop strong relationships with Contract Manufacturer(s)(CMs) through proactive communication, weekly/monthly alignments on production, and alignment/development ofkey waysof working/processes.
  • Responsible for tracking & management of receipts to the distribution centeron a monthly basisto hit key KPIs - Achievement and Adherence
  • Track& driveimprovement for key indicators such as achievement and adherence,service,inventory,&plan stability.
  • Monitorsupply performance & service level to create proactive signals for cross-functional teams and deployappropriate riskmitigation
  • Analyze and report monthly inventory on excess and obsolete; build out action plans when necessary
  • Work with internal plant teams to seamlessly execute the procurement and delivery of materials to CM(s) on time and in-full to realize plan. Alert of risk of non-realization.
  • Partner with plant processing team to build out daily/weekly/monthly bulk plan to support CM planwithgoalto produceOTIF to avoidexpirationrisks.
  • Lead theproduction plan validationfor your CMcaatalogand speak to shifts in the stability of the CM plan


  • Analyze and send monthly production plan to Contract Manufacturer(s) including PO's
  • Track and resolve bottlenecks to ensure the monthly production plan is executed ontimeand that achievement and adherence targets are achieved
  • Anticipate,inform& escalateany supplyissuesand build action plans to mitigate
  • Initiate and drive lead-time improvement and agility projects. Monitor capacity and signals requiring action from sourcing to secure the business (capacity, investments, etc.)
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis for any plan misses and implement action plan to mitigate for future
  • Developlogisticsrequirements (specifications) with suppliers as well as supply chain maps
  • For co-manufacturing operations, manage material inventory levels to ensure budget targets are met
  • Accountable for conducting/reconciling regular physical inventories tomaintainaccuratesystem information
  • Communicate and influence with all levels from operators to Supply ChainHead/ Plant Manager
  • Manage the production rework process as applicable for catalog
  • Clear communication and transparency with all risks to the production plan
  • Maintain the master data accuracy and ensure alignment with Contract Manufacturer(s)
  • Lead and implement process Improvement projects asrequiredto continuously improve on way of working
  • Manage Excess and Obsolete inventory from prevention to monthly cleanup
  • Address open invoices and in-transit production per KPI targets
  • Partner with Launch Managers on production plan execution
  • Responsible for all aspects of supply chain related to catalog including service, plan execution, inventory, and agility metrics

Required Experience/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain discipline preferred
  • 3+years of experience in ahigh performancemanufacturing facility - cosmetics industry preferred
  • SAP/PowerBIexperience preferred
  • Advanced Excel strongly recommended (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Must have strong written/verbal and communication and analytical skills
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability tointerface withplant and corporate personnel at various organizational levels and external suppliers
  • Ability to manage change, provide program management and achieveresults 4
  • APICS, CIPM, or NAPM, CPM certification preferred
