Job Summary:

This role is responsible for having both the long and short-term vision on production planning for a specific division within Florence. In this capacity, you will plan the plant's 12-month production activity to ensure service to customers, and the correct business priorities are accounted for while taking into account manufacturing constraints. As a Master Planner you will serve as primary point of contact for GBSC teams for the cruising Florence managed catalog. This role is responsible for sharing mid to long term constraints and consistent collaboration and proactive communication to our business partners. This role presents the exciting opportunity to work cross functionally to solve operational bottlenecks and drive service results.

Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Develop a 12-month rolling production plan in collaboration with GBSC teams and MSC, allocate medium-long-term capacity of the plant, and ensure the production plan is feasible. Also, alert GBSC teams in case of risk of nonrealization.
  • Determine business priorities with the GBSC team to translate into a production plan & provide availability date on low stock items.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and partner with the MSC team to define ways to improve recovery on top service offenders, identify areas of opportunity and employ creative solutions to resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Manage relationships with divisional cross functional partners and build trust by information sharing, collaboration and driving initiatives to achieve service level targets and other key operational KPIs.
  • Make weekly updates to production based on new requirement transmission and confirm feasibility (procurement, UP and CM)
  • Convert weekly orders (FG/WIP/Bulk) to the UP that are feasible and balancing supporting service, inventory goals, and production strategy.
  • Promote a culture of ensuring the balance of service and inventory goals with UP efficiency.


  • Work with short term planners to adapt the monthly/weekly production plan based on requests and collaboration from the GBSC teams.
  • Define production priorities based on launches or/and business priorities and resource availability
  • Regularly monitor Supply Chain performance and agility KPI and lead the corrective measures. Analyze the plant performance in terms of production plan realization (Achievement/Adherence), Service, Gap to Net Requirement &percent to ideal plan. Report a summary of key indicators to other departments.
  • Lead the Validation meeting with GBSC teams and Plant management committee.
  • Define and Lead agility and continuous improvement on one's catalog.
  • Drive conversations about E&O and liabilities based on plan fluctuations with divisional partners.
  • Analyze business signals (demand fluctuations / safety parameter updates) & proactively alert the FLOMSC & leadership of major plan changes.


Required Experience/Training/Competencies:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business/engineering or supply chain discipline preferred
  • Experience: 3-5years of previous experience,in a high-performance manufacturing facility or supply planning scope- cosmetics industry preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred
  • APO planning
  • Advanced Excel strongly recommended (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc.)
  • Must have strong written/verbal and communication and analytical skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously; manage change, provide program management and achieve results.
  • Proven ability to develop short and long-range plans that meet established objectives and contribute to the overall goals and mission of the company.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to consolidate, present information and interface with plant and corporate personnel at various organizational levels.
