About this job: Supports the District's Capital Bond program and the Director of Facility Planning in administering the facility planning program for the District. Provides senior-level expertise and support for master planning for the District's educational and support facilities. Assembles, analyzes, organizes and coordinates facility needs information for use by all departments of Facilities Management and other District departments.
What You'll Do:• Works collaboratively with department leadership and accross teams to carry out comprehensive project and planning efforts related to the district's facility planning needs
• Determines future facility needs through coordination with district educational administrators, local school personnel and the Facilities Management department
• Defines and confirms project scopes and compiles and approves cost estimates for projects and initiatives
• Contributes and assists in managing the development, assessment, and maintenance of facility needs data; generates and distributes facilities planning information; and assists in the management and maintenance of the Facility Condition Information database, the Archibus Space Management database and Tririga
• Manages the assembly of related information of the district's facility construction needs, including major building element replacement needs and new technology infrastructure support
What You'll Need: - Bachelor's Degree Required
- Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible architectural or engineering experience and construction program and project management, involving programming, design, construction documentation, administrative, and technical responsibilities
