What You Will Do:- Ensure pipeline and facility designs meet all regulatory, industry, and corporate standards while contributing technical expertise and clear scope definition during cost estimating.
- Take ownership for scheduling, cost control, and forecasting for the build work, and report these to the Pipeline Engineering Supervisor and Project Manager.
- Participate and offer mentorship in design reviews with external engineering firms and internal collaborators such as System Planning, Operations, Construction, Lands, Environment, and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for review and approval of design criteria and construction drawing packages.
- Collaborate with Procurement & Supply Chain and cross-functional internal teams, while managing relationships with third-party engineering firms to support material acquisition and contracted engineering services.
- Provide technical assistance during construction phases and assist with on-site commissioning.
- Aid the regulatory process by providing preliminary layout drawings, technical project descriptions, and other necessary information for application filing.
- Develop and maintain project-specific records (e.g., Key Project Assumptions, Build Basis Memoranda, & Engineering Decision Records) while integrating lessons learned and industry guidelines into designs.
Who You Are:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering focused on Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical or another related engineering field.
- Six (6) or more years of relevant experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline codes and standards [49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 192/195, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B31, National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and material specifications [Civil/Structural/Architectural (engineering and construction) (CSA), ASME, Application Programming Interface (API), Manufacturers Standarization Society (MSS)].
- Experience in trenchless design, feasibility analysis, and managing geotechnical/hydrotechnical hazards.
- Familiar with U.S. regulatory and permitting processes, including Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) filings and United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requirements.
- Professional engineering credentials (U.S.) is preferred, combined with strong technical, analytical, project management, communication, and multitasking skills in a team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:- Office environment (~80-90%), collaborating with various project groups.
- Moderate travel(~10-20%) to the field prioritizing projects or supporting construction and commissioning activities as required.
