Full Job Description
The Senior Pharmacy Clinical Advisor advises and collaborates with cross functional leaders with goals of combining clinical Rx acumen with holistic desired health outcomes. The Senior Pharmacy Clinical Advisor work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Pharmacy Clinical Advisor uses financial and other data driven methods to construct value propositions leading to impactful, longer term decisions.  Translates information from multiple sources to clearly communicate a compelling clinical, data-driven message to executive-level audiences. Works across multiple departments to execute strategies. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of technical healthcare experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Skilled in using data to identify areas of concern and drive operational changes
  • Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects
  • Demonstrated ability to implement projects/campaigns and achieve business goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with pharmacy benefits and health benefits

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Quality Metrics

Experience with Process Documentation

Experience with PowerApps

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$86,300 - $118,700 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
