Senior People Business Partner, Marketing

At Verkada, our People team is a key driver of growth. We partner closely with leaders across the business to build high-performing organizations, develop exceptional talent, and scale the company through periods of rapid transformation.

We're looking for a Senior People Business Partner to support leaders across our global Marketing organization. You'll partner directly with senior leaders to shape org strategy, and build the structures, processes, and teams that enable scale.
About the Role

This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly scaling global Marketing organization. You'll work directly with ambitious leaders, influence critical business decisions, and play a meaningful role in how the company evolves as we continue to grow globally.

We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our office in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Marketing leaders on organizational effectiveness, organizational health, team performance, leadership coaching, and talent strategy
  • Partner closely with leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities through coaching, feedback, and development planning
  • Use data and insights to identify trends, diagnose challenges, and influence business decisions
  • Develop innovative and pragmatic people solutions to address organizational challenges, unlock team performance, and support evolving business needs
  • Build and drive talent initiatives across performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development
  • Help leaders navigate ambiguity, growth, and change while maintaining a high-performance culture
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters and investigations
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of HRBP or People Business Partner experience
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative, scalable solutions to complex people and organizational challenges
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization with sound judgment and strong business acumen
  • Thrives in an environment where People Partners take broad ownership across talent, leadership, and organizational initiatives rather than relying on specialized COEs
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate people data into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence change, and execute effectively in a rapidly evolving organization
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or Master's degree is a plus
  • Must be willing and able to commute to San Mateo 5 days in office

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
