Senior People Business Partner

What You'll Do
• Coach and advise senior Technology leaders on key people matters, including organizational effectiveness, team and individual development, performance, succession, and talent retention
• Develop a strong understanding of the Technology organization, including its operating model, talent needs, business priorities, and evolving workforce requirements
• Lead core HR programs and processes across assigned coverage areas, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, compensation advisory, year-end execution, and employee relations
• Partner with business leaders to assess organizational needs, identify capability gaps, and develop targeted plans to strengthen manager effectiveness, employee development, and team performance
• Provide informed, practical recommendations that apply HR expertise, business context, and sound judgment to a range of stakeholder needs
• Partner with managers, Legal, and other stakeholders to address employee relations matters, including performance concerns, policy violations, investigations, and termination processes
• Collaborate closely with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver coordinated, effective people solutions and leverage specialized expertise
• Use data, business insight, AI, and other tools to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and develop creative, practical solutions while maintaining a human-centered approach

What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, with a strong academic record
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 8 years as a People Business Partner or in a generalist role with employee-facing responsibilities
• Experience supporting a Technology organization strongly preferred; financial services experience highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders in a high-performing, demanding environment
• Ability to move effectively between strategic advisory work and tactical execution, with a willingness to engage in detail when needed
• Strong commercial mindset and genuine interest in understanding the business, its priorities, operating environment, and people
• Sound judgment, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive and complex people matters
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and communication skills, including the ability to interpret people data, identify trends and risks, and translate insights into actionable recommendations in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range

Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
