About the RoleBPM is seeking a
Tax Senior to join our growing
Private Client Services (PCS) or Flowthrough practice. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and closely held businesses.
You will take ownership of complex tax engagements, collaborate with leadership, and play a key role in mentoring junior team members while building strong client relationships.
Note: Candidates located near a BPM office will follow a hybrid work model, with 2-3 days per week in the office.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, and estates
- Work on complex Flowthrough and/or PCS engagements, including real estate, family offices, and closely held business structures
- Identify, research, and resolve tax technical issues and apply findings to client situations
- Assist with tax planning strategies, projections, and entity structuring to optimize client outcomes
- Collaborate with Managers and Directors on client deliverables and tax strategy execution
- Review work prepared by Associates and provide coaching and feedback to support development
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service
- Stay current on federal, state, and local tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to the team
- Contribute to process improvements and team efficiencies
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- 2+ years of public accounting tax experience
- CPA or EA in progress preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of partnership, individual, and flowthrough taxation
- Experience with PCS (HNW/UHNW, trusts & estates) or Flowthrough clients (real estate, professional services, manufacturing, etc.)
- Proficiency with tax research tools and software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
