Reporting to the Sr. Director of Airline & Car Rental Partnerships, you will manage the operational rhythm of Engine's air and car rental supply: tracking partner performance, coordinating issue resolution, supporting commercial negotiations, and ensuring partners are activated and performing against plan.

This is not a strategy-setting role - it is a hands-on execution and relationship management role that requires strong organizational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to operate effectively across internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with

Product, Engineering, Pricing, and Operations to translate partnership goals into delivered outcomes.

Because this is a strategic accounts book, you will engage directly with senior airline and car rental executives. We're looking for someone who can be a credible, trusted partner externally while driving disciplined execution internally.
What You'll Do
  • Manage a portfolio of airline and car rental partner accounts, serving as the primary operational point of contact
  • Monitor partner performance against KPIs (coverage, attach rates, booking volume, margin) and proactively identify and address underperformance
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Pricing, and Operations to resolve partner issues and unblock activation
  • Support the Sr. Director in commercial negotiations by preparing materials, tracking deal terms, and managing follow-through
  • Own the partner cadence: QBRs, performance reviews, check-ins, and escalation processes
  • Maintain accurate partner records, contract documentation, and pipeline tracking • Track industry trends across airline distribution, connectivity, and car rental commercial models to inform partner conversations
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing partnerships and surface them with clear recommendations
  • Drive partner onboarding and activation for new agreements, ensuring smooth handoff from signed deal to live integration
What We're Looking For
  • 4-7 years of experience in airline partnerships, distribution, account management, or supply operations within travel or travel tech
  • Working knowledge of airline distribution models (GDS, NDC, ancillaries, fare structures) and/or car rental commercial constructs
  • Strong organizational and project management skills - can manage multiple partner workstreams simultaneously without dropping balls
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills suited to external partner-facing interactions
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Commercial awareness - understands how partnerships translate to coverage, revenue, and customer experience
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on action items and commitments
Nice to Have
  • Experience at an airline, OTA, GDS, aggregator, or travel platform
  • Familiarity with ARC settlement and airline commercial constructs
  • Experience with API-based distribution or airline connectivity platforms
  • Experience managing QBRs or structured partner review cadences
  • Prior experience supporting senior leaders in commercial negotiations
