Position Summary

The Senior Operations Program Manager (OPM) is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional programs that enable the manufacturing site to achieve its operational, quality, safety, and cost objectives. This role drives strategic initiatives, improves processes, and ensures operational readiness for new products, technologies, and capacity changes. The Operations Program Manager acts as a central point of alignment across operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and EHS teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of operations programs aligned with site-level productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction goals.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, KPIs, program dashboards, and communication cadences.
  • Facilitate cross-functional program reviews, ensuring clear accountability, timely decision-making, and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze operational data to identify performance gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing leaders to implement operational changes that enhance throughput, yield, quality, and safety.
  • Manage readiness for new product introductions, capacity expansions, equipment installs, and operational transitions.
  • Oversee program budgets, resource needs, stakeholder alignment, and operational readiness criteria.
  • Support development and refinement of SOPs, workflow documentation, and site-level operational frameworks.
  • Promote and support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Communicate progress, escalations, milestones, and financial impact to site leadership and corporate teams.


Requirements

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, supply chain operations, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional programs from concept through implementation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting operational data and driving databased decisions.
  • Familiarity with program management tools and methodologies; PMP or Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • On-site presence required to collaborate closely with manufacturing and operations teams.


Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, manufacturing engineering, or similar roles within a manufacturing environment.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience
