Full Job Description
The Opportunity
This is a permanent, full-time leadership opportunity designed for a strategic builder who wants to play a key role in a major operational transformation rather than simply maintaining the status quo. The distribution center is navigating a highly successful recovery and expansion phase, evolving from a traditional technology distribution model into a fast-paced e-commerce and third-party logistics powerhouse. As the Senior Operations Manager, you will partner directly with the newly appointed Director to establish stable systems, cultivate frontline leadership, and drive deep cultural accountability. This is your chance to step into an operation poised to double its workforce over the next two years, offering you a high-visibility platform to showcase your strategic capabilities and build a direct path toward future executive advancement.
The Location
This role is fully onsite at the distribution facility in Newnan, Georgia, situated approximately 25 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport. Located within a vital southeastern logistics corridor, this thriving region offers a great quality of life and easy accessibility from many desirable surrounding suburbs, making it an ideal hub for a local leader who understands regional market dynamics.
What You Will Do
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations to ensure the facility runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Establish and enforce a strong operating rhythm, building daily accountability and operational consistency across all shifts.
  • Provide direct strategic leadership and development to operations managers, supervisors, and frontline team leaders.
  • Support the rapid scaling of the third-party logistics and e-commerce fulfillment segments of the facility.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators, focusing closely on inventory accuracy, productivity, and safety standards.
  • Partner closely with HR, IT, and Finance to manage strategic staffing, onboarding, training, and overall resource allocation.
  • Uphold workplace organization using 5S methodologies and continuous process improvement strategies.
  • Serve as a primary driver of change management, helping to stabilize the facility and elevate overall leadership competency.

Who You Are
  • Seven or more years of proven warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leadership experience.
  • Strong history of people-first leadership, with a demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and elevate other managers and supervisors.
  • Experience working in high-volume e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL, or fast-paced distribution environments.
  • Solid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, with Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO environment knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency with modern Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and computerized scanner technologies.
  • Ability to manage daily operational execution and apply analytical problem-solving to resolve complex system issues.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a bilingual ability in English and Spanish considered a strong asset.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and deep professional experience.
The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader who values people development and relationship-building over rigid technical administration. You are a natural coach who thrives in dynamic, shifting environments and possesses the emotional intelligence needed to connect with a diverse workforce. Rather than managing through daily firefighting, you possess the strategic foresight to build consistent processes, establish accountability with empathy, and instill a structured operating rhythm that empowers your team to succeed.
Flexibility & Work-Life Integration
  • Work Structure: Fully Onsite
  • Schedule: Full-time leadership schedule with flexibility to work overtime, including planned and unplanned hours or weekends to support multi-shift operations
  • Environment: Highly active, fast-paced technology distribution and 3PL fulfillment facility

Why Join the Team?

This position offers an incredible opportunity to share directly in the company's financial growth through a highly lucrative Employee Stock Ownership Plan and robust 401k structure. The organization provides an exceptional, comprehensive benefits package including premium medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous paid time off, tuition assistance, gym reimbursements, and a specialized employee purchase program. You will join an empowering, collaborative environment that rejects temporary fixes in favor of rewarding dedicated leaders who build lasting operational excellence.
