About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Operations & Administration to join the Chief Marketing Office (CMO). This is a pivotal, high-impact role where you will be responsible for elevating strategic planning and ensuring seamless, high-quality execution across key CMO teams and the entire Marketing organization.
The Senior Operations Manager will serve as a strategic partner responsible for maximizing organizational efficiency, defining our internal engagement strategy, and managing critical engagement activities across our Marketing Organization. Success in this role requires an individual who can fluidly transition from high-level strategic planning to the meticulous execution of large-scale initiatives, comfort with ambiguity, strong communication skills and influential leadership.
Key Accountabilities:
In this role you will:
Develop and execute the internal engagement strategy, ensuring timely, clear, and consistent communication of all strategic updates to stakeholders.
Manage a high volume of internal communications across diverse channels and internal portals.
Autonomously drives complex, high-impact initiatives from ambiguity to action—distilling overarching strategy into a clear path forward while establishing explicit role clarity across cross-functional teams.
Design, structure, and facilitate large-scale, high-visibility meetings and forums - Town Halls, Incentives Program Events, internal offsites - with strong executive presence, ensuring focused dialogue that translates complex information into clear direction and delivery.
General Project Management:
Proactively diagnose and eliminate systemic friction, designing operational efficiencies that simplify complex processes and drive measurable impact.
Design and execute a scalable incentives program to drive organizational accountability, accelerate behavioral adoption, and celebrate a culture of high performance and continuous improvement across Marketing.
Executes on operations initiatives, serves to lead and champion programs or ideas across both Marketing and CMG, and is influential in coaching and collaborating with senior leadership to achieve objectives.

Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and deliver results.
Leveraging Technology: Pioneer and integrate AI-driven solutions across core workflows to eliminate redundant manual processes, drive peak operational efficiency, and elevate overall deliverable quality and speed.
Proven operations and/or project management experience
Strong understanding of marketing organizational structures, workflows, and mindsets.
Professional experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies and modern digital work practices, including practical application of AI productivity tools.
This role is based in South San Francisco and offers a hybrid schedule working 3 day per week on campus
No relocation benefits are available for this posting
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of CA is $136,300 -$252,700. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below. Benefits
