Responsibilities and Duties

OCT currently has an opening for a Senior General or Operations Manager to work with our federal client.

Day to day responsibilities include:
  • Provide leadership in defining program specifications.
  • Meet project schedule and performance objectives.
  • Implement operational mission requirements.
  • Conduct requirements and information analysis, as well as cost-benefit analysis.
  • Assist clients in achieving all stated objectives.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables.
  • Coordinate work efforts across multiple projects to achieve common program objectives.
  • Ensure timely problem resolution and total customer satisfaction.
  • Report to Senior leadership as needed.
  • Manage and oversee junior consultants.

Requirements
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident (Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring access to agency IT systems unless an exception is granted).
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required. Relevant experience includes program/project management, talent acquisition, facilitation, program management toolset implementation, and organizational transformational efforts. Of the required years of experience, at least five (5) years must be in support of federal government agencies. Experience with the USCG or DHS is preferred.
  • Certifications: An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strictly required.
  • Clearance Requirements: Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
  • Location/on-site requirements: Primarily on-site in Washington, DC, with off-site remote work authorized on a situational, case-by-case basis.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 yearly commensurate with experience, education, etc.
