Job Description:
This job is responsible for resolving day-to-day complex problems, researching, and executing on complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s). Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and implementation of products, systems, processes, and services using discretion within the project management methodologies, with a focus on continuous improvement.

LOB Description:

​As part of Wealth Management Operations (WMO), Investment Information Management Organization, this position is a Senior Operations Consultant within the Wealth Management Performance Operations Team. The Senior Operations Consultant will support the Wealth Management Performance Operations organization by overseeing the completion of day-to-day workflow for one or more performance operations functions.  Key responsibilities include the design, development and improvement of performance operations processes while supporting the identification and resolution of complex investment performance return outliers and inquiries.  

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services in an operations environment using subject matter expertise

  • Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives

  • Advises as a technical expert in assigned area by providing work direction, guidance, and training to employees and business partners on new complex initiatives

  • Builds relationships with business partners across various Lines of Business

  • Manages and defines responsibilities and accountabilities for key program and projects

  • Design and execute strategic roadmaps supporting performance platform enhancements, operational improvements, and technology transformation initiatives.

  • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Independently manage complex assignments with minimal oversight while proactively engaging appropriate stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Develop operational workflows, process maps, and system designs that improve efficiency, scalability, and risk management.

  • Maintain strong relationships with LOB partners and other key process stakeholders.  

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of wealth management products, investment performance, account structures, and performance-related data sources.

  • 2 to 4 years experience with investments and investments products

  • 1 to 3 years demonstrated success in establishing and monitoring operations metrics

  • Ability to communicate sophisticated performance, financial, and mathematical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated success collaborating across multiple business functions, including partnering with senior leaders, vendors, and other key stakeholders.

  • Experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations, recommendations, and strategic communications.

  • Strong critical thinking and consultative problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and recommend alternative solutions when appropriate.

  • Experience defining and implementing operational strategies, roadmaps, and process improvements for technology or platform enhancements.

  • Ability to establish and monitor operational metrics.

  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance risk, client impact, and operational efficiency.

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy.

  • Experience identifying root causes of operational challenges and developing sustainable corrective actions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • ​​​​Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • ​​​Continuing education or specialized training in investment performance measurement, wealth management, data analytics, or operational excellence is a plus.

Pay range

$63,000.00 - $105,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
