Working Location: Massachusetts, Westborough Workplace Flexibility: HybridJob DescriptionThis role provides an exciting opportunity for a talented individual looking to looking to flex their analytical prowess in combination with driving analysis and insights into the SUS portfolio in support of BU reporting and decision making. As an integral member of the SIS SUS R&D team this role is responsible for supporting global SIS Sustaining (SUS) R&D Operations.
This role works with the Sustaining R&D Operations Leader, the SUS PELs (Project Execution Leaders), PMs and the regional SUS R&D leaders by performing ad hoc analyses and providing tactical support on a broad range of projects of strategic importance to the SIS SUS org among other initiatives as needs arise.
Job Duties- SUS Operations (70%)
- Primarily responsible for collecting, synthesizing, analyzing and managing data from multiple sources (including project and CAPA labor and budget actuals and forecast) to support SPT (Sustaining Prioritization Teams) and SGB (Sustaining Governance Board) presentations and BU level decision making through relevant and actionable insights and reporting with an understanding of the drivers and project implications using your tools expertise to analyze and evaluate data using Excel including, pivot tables, queries, equations, etc.
- Work with multiple stakeholders including PELs (Project Execution Leaders), PMs, GRDLs, gPMO and CAPA governance and process team members among others, managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction.
- Develop and support SUS org KPI reporting in support of SGB meetings including monthly PPT reports to key stakeholders through the preparation supporting dashboards and scorecards in a user-friendly manner including visualization BI tools (e.g. PowerBI) and Portfolio tools (e.g. Sensei IQ).
- Develop visual representations of gathered complex data/relationships to convey key information succinctly and unambiguously. Ensure that the methodology and assumptions used to develop the output are clearly documented, accurate, and repeatable.
- Partners with other analysts (e.g. gPMO, CAPA) and project managers to build and enhance repeatable processes and best practices.
- Support collaboration with the Strategy team to ensure alignment with the SFBP (Strategic & Financial Business Process) team including data alignment and accuracy.
- Finance (15%)
- Support SPT financial reporting and analysis for PJ budgets and CAPA (labor & expense) in collaboration with global finance leads.
- Work with the SUS PMO and finance teams to roll-up project and CAPA related financials to a concise, BU level report with insights.
- Support CTO Office and otherprojects including Sustainability, Materials and Tariff projects (15%)
- Lead and/or support global CTO level initiatives as appropriate.
Job QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's degree required in engineering, finance, business, economics or similar quantitative fields.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a combination of data and analytics projects, R&D sustaining projects or operations inclusive of quality projects, portfolio management and analysis and/or business process development.
- Financial and business acumen and mindset are required.
- Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills with proven expertise in creating reports and tools to analyse and evaluate data using Excel, pivot tables, queries, equations, etc.
- Ability to synthesize information from multiple data sources, draw relevant and actionable conclusions, and handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction.
- Proven track record of developing and communicating data analysis insights and results to assist decision-making for leadership.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and planning skills; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management & project management skills.
- Motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in teams on tasks and projects with limited supervision and with a high degree of personal initiative and drive.
- Ability to support global meetings / discussions (e.g., schedule flexibility to support meetings with teams in Germany (CET) and Japan (JST)).
Preferred:- PMP Certification a plus.
- Prior project management knowledge and expertise preferred.
- Medical device experience preferred.
- Global experience interfacing with offshore teams and initiatives is preferable.
- Experience working in an international matrixed organization with great collaboration skills preferred.
- Advanced capabilities in visualization BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and Portfolio tools (Sensei IQ) preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position in this location is $108,767.00 - $152,274.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
