Lead and inspire high-performing teams while driving clinical excellence, innovation, and quality care across Philadelphia's SUD programs

The Senior Operational Clinical Director Outpatient Services oversees outpatient programs across Philadelphia, ensuring clinical quality, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and program consistency. Reporting to the Sr. Executive Director, this role provides leadership for SUD services, centralized intake, and mobile unit operations while driving quality improvement and innovation. Frequent daily travel between program sites is required to support operations, staff, and service delivery.

This position requires
  • Expertise in clinical work with clients, knowledge of regulations specific to OTP services and experience working with diverse SUD populations.
  • Teamwork, reliability, dependability, flexibility and the ability to problem solve are important characteristics for the position.
  • Experience with administrative and organization workplace policies.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to build consensus, align teams around shared objectives, and navigate competing leadership perspectives to achieve successful business outcomes.

Senior Operational Clinical Director will:
  • Manage the mobile unit and centralize our intakes for SUD Philadelphia.
  • Ensure the clinical integrity of the outpatient programs and sustainable business practices.
  • Oversee all licensing, manage quality control, lead initiatives focused on innovation and program change as well as thought leader for SUD.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field of Human Services, including but not limited to Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Sociology. Licensed candidates are preferred (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience post graduate working with substance use disorder population.
  • 3 years' experience working in Methadone Maintenance with preference in management.
  • Computer competency
  • Open to travel between sites daily
