Job Description:

The Senior OneStream Administrator serves as the technical and functional owner of the OneStream SaaS platform, ensuring stability, security, governance, and continuous enhancement of critical Financial Consolidation, Financial Close, Reporting, and Extended Planning & Analysis (xP&A) processes. In this senior-level role, you will serve as the primary technical authority for our financial consolidation, planning, and reporting systems. You will bridge the gap between finance requirements and IT execution, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and optimal platform performance.

What You Will Do:

Own and administer the OneStream platform across Development, Pre-Production, and Production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Lead support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including consolidation, reporting, workflow management, and issue resolution to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex application, data, and integration issues; perform root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Manage application configuration, metadata, business rules, workflows, dashboards, reporting objects, and security structures to support evolving business requirements.
• Support and enhance xP&A solutions, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, analytics, and future planning capabilities within OneStream.
• Lead technical onboarding, administration, and operational support for newly deployed OneStream modules and capabilities, ensuring successful adoption and long-term sustainment.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Data Management, and IT stakeholders to evaluate enhancement opportunities, improve business processes, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Govern application security, user access, Segregation of Duties (SoD), audit controls, and compliance requirements while supporting periodic access reviews and regulatory audits.
• Oversee change management, testing, release deployments, platform upgrades, and validation activities to ensure controlled and compliant system changes.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, operational efficiencies, and platform modernization initiatives to maximize business value and user experience.
• Work with global teams both from IT and Finance.

What You Have:
  • Expertise in OneStream EPM, including Financial Consolidation, Financial Close, Reporting, and xP&A.
  • Experience administering and optimizing OneStream SaaS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and consolidation processes.
  • Ability to configure and manage metadata, business rules, workflows, dashboards, security, and reporting.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex application, data, and integration issues.
  • Knowledge of governance, security, user access controls, and audit requirements.
  • Experience managing platform upgrades, releases, testing, and change management.
  • Strong partnership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive process improvements, automation, and continuous platform enhancements.
  • Experience working with global Finance and IT stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.

Summary Pay Range:

$147,760.00 - $240,110.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
