SUMMARYThe primary purpose of the
Senior Neurophysiology Technologist position is to perform advanced neurophysiology testing and coordinate laboratory activities. The role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Ideal candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and a multidisciplinary clinical team, including physicians, medical specialists, surgeons, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Performs neurophysiology tests including electroencephalographs (EEGs), intra-operative monitoring (IOMs), electromyographys (EMGs) and evoked potentials.
- Maintains statistical data.
- Participates in the development of new procedures.
- Prepares and conducts in-service training sessions for section.
- Participates in rotation on taking call.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent and Training Program Completion of an approved training course or on the job training in electrocephalographic technique.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Physical or biological sciences and Training Program Completion of an approved training course.
WORK EXPERIENCE- Required: Three years experience in neurophysiology using EEGs, IOMs, EMGs and evoked potential testing. With Bachelor's Degree, one year experience with preferred degree.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS- Required: CNIM - Cert Neurophy Intraop Mtrg upon hire; or
- Required: EEG-R - Electroencephalographic Technician Registration upon hire; or
- Required: EP - Evoked Potential Tech Registration in evoked potential technology (R EP T) by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist (ABRET) upon hire; or
- Required: R EMG - Reg in Electromyography Registration in electromyography (EMG) by the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET) upon hire.
