Ignite IT, a leading partner with federal agencies to modernize infrastructure, streamline collaboration, and deliver resilient, high-performance systems is looking for a Senior Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer, to join our team of engineers and technologists who bring clarity to complexity. You will lead incident response efforts, proactively monitor systems, and serve as a technical resource for both your team and agency stakeholders. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in high-impact environments and is passionate about operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements - A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in network engineering, operations, monitoring, and support
- A bachelor's degree
- U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a federal government public trust clearance
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Incident Management: Detecting, diagnosing, and resolving network incidents
- Routing & Switching Protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VLANs
- VPN Technologies: Policy- and route-based VPNs
- Load Balancers: F5 BIG-IP, NGINX, Apache
- Monitoring & Alerting Tools: SolarWinds, DataDog, ExtraHop
- Firewalls: Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto Networks
Preferred Qualifications - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA) or F5 BIG-IP certification
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) or Engineer (PCNSE)
