Project description
We are looking for an experienced Model-Based Development (MBD) Engineer to support automotive embedded software development activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and proven experience developing, validating, and integrating model-based software solutions for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
The engineer will work closely with system, software, and validation teams to develop control algorithms, generate production code, and support integration into embedded automotive platforms.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
Create and modify system and software models based on requirements.
Perform model verification and validation.
Generate production-ready embedded C code using Embedded Coder.
Support integration of generated code into automotive ECU software platforms.
Analyze and troubleshoot software issues identified during testing and vehicle integration.
Collaborate with systems, software, and calibration engineers.
Maintain compliance with automotive development processes and quality standards.
Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.

Strong experience with:
MATLAB Simulink

Embedded C programming

Version control systems (Git preferred)
