POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer provides engineering, operations, and advisory support for CBO's Microsoft cloud environments (M365, Azure, Microsoft Security). Designs, implements, maintains, and optimizes secure cloud services per NIST 800-53, 800-207 (Zero Trust), and FedRAMP Moderate. Covers enterprise tenant management, Azure infra/app dev, Exchange Online & collaboration (Teams, SharePoint), IAM (Entra ID, Conditional Access, PAM), and security ops across Defender, Sentinel, Purview. Manages Intune/Autopilot endpoint delivery, hybrid AD/Entra tiered security, PowerShell/Graph admin lockdown, MFA provider transitions (incl. 3rd-party MFA, Smart Card/FIDO), Power BI reporting/dashboards (health, compliance, spend/forecast), Azure budget/spend alerting (90-day overage lead time), and IR/COOP playbook integration. Operates with minimal supervision; supports change management, documentation, SOPs, audits/assessments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be Eligible for a Federal Security Clearance

• Senior technical leadership and independent ops for enterprise M365/Azure/Microsoft Security
• hybrid AD + M365/Entra tiered security per Microsoft framework; Intune management of Windows/macOS/iOS (compliance, policy, Autopilot, on-demand software for 69700 endpoints)
• remote PowerShell lockdown across Entra/Azure APIs (headless Exchange Online provisioning, SharePoint profile imports, Graph)
• IAM/Conditional Access/PAM/least-privilege incl. MFA transitions and Smart Card/FIDO
• Exchange Online/Teams/SharePoint; Azure infra/networking/hybrid; Defender/Sentinel/Purview config incl. Sentinel data-source mgmt and log-quality alerting; Power BI reporting
• Azure spend/budget config; IR/disaster playbook authoring.

Required current Microsoft credentials:

• M365 Certified Administrator Expert; Cybersecurity Architect Expert;
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert;
• M365 Endpoint Administrator Associate;
• Identity & Access Administrator Associate;
• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate;

Compensation: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
