Job DescriptionSenior Metallurgist - Tucson, ArizonaThe Senior Metallurgist will be working on Mineral Processing projects and will have experience with Copper SXEW, Heap Leach and base metal flotation. Experience in operations and metallurgical testing will be well suited for this role.
Shift/Schedule: Standard office hours, Monday-Friday

What you'll do:- Supervise and manage metallurgical resources (equipment and technicians) to ensure metallurgical tests are performed: safely, accurately and on schedule
- Assist with set-up and layout of facility
- Interpret metallurgical test work results
- Liaise with clients to ensure their objectives are met
- Prepare quotations and proposal based on client needs

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
- Metallurgical testing in a laboratory setting is required
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Good communication skills with well-developed written and oral skills
- 7 years experience in Flotation and Leaching
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:- PE registration preferred
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in mineral processing; gold or copper processing preferred
