Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior MEP Construction Project Manager to deliver projects for our technology client. You will work with a broader JLL team as the MEP subject matter expert for commercial office building systems, clean rooms, electronic labs, generators, and central plant. This client-facing role is critical in the delivery of projects with the JLL project team and specialized vendor consultants.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Performing high-quality project management with strong governance, thorough documentation, and efficient communication including project frameworks, minutes, status updates, risk management plans, and meetings.
  • Interface extensively with engineers, architects, vendors, and client leadership to integrate new MEP systems into existing building infrastructure.
  • Lead and manage laboratory construction within a larger project from initiation to closeout.
  • Maintaining project scope and budget throughout project delivery.
  • Ensuring project-related documentation is complete and provides key metrics to support client leadership decision-making.
  • Establishing strong business relationships with key stakeholders through a consultative approach, sharing best practices and market trends to drive stakeholder decision-making
  • Serve as the MEP subject matter expert for stakeholders, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Guide all parties through design, implementation, and sign-off phases.
  • Manage project schedules, budget tracking, change orders, and approvals.
  • Address immediate project risks or escalations.
  • Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to clients and management.
  • Collaborate with facility managers and operations teams to ensure smooth transition and handover of laboratory facilities.
  • Track and report project performance, update stakeholders on progress, and manage project-related documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and disruptions.

Estimated compensation for this position:

140,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
