Senior Mechanical Systems Technician

Responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Systems Technician position includes:
Assists in the proper maintenance, troubleshooting, service and repairs of commercial hydronics, heat exchangers, facility equipment and systems.
Maintains and repairs steam/hot water boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
Maintains all pumped systems including: chilled water, condensate water, domestic hot and cold water, heating hot water, condensate, sewage ejector, medical air, vacuum, DA tanks, and mechanical air.
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure equipment is repaired efficiently and within the specified timeline.
Adhere to all relevant safety standards and procedures.
Keep accurate records of work performed.
Call as needed.
Requirements for the Senior Mechanical Systems Technicianposition includes:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience or combination of experience with commercial hydronics, HVAC, boilers, hot water systems, heat exchangers, steam systems, chillers, hydraulic pumps and mechanical maintenance experience required
Knowledge of both Commercial Service & Construction Plumbing
Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License required, and a MedGas License is preferred.
EPA certification is a plus
Ability to take call as needed.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and writing diagrams
Strong knowledge of industrial hydronics, commercial plumbing systems, central plant systems, tools, and materials.
Prior experience handling complex hospital shutdowns, system diagnostics, and equipment replacements is required.
