Opportunity Overview

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing next-generation semiconductor test platforms, leading complex mechanical design efforts and driving innovative solutions from concept through production. This role partners closely with product, systems, and global engineering teams to translate customer needs into scalable, reliable mechanical systems.

  • Lead the development of advanced mechanical designs for semiconductor test equipment, solving complex engineering challenges with a high degree of autonomy
  • Translate system-level and market requirements into robust, manufacturable mechanical architecture
  • Drive design trade-offs across performance, cost, reliability, and time-to-market constraints
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global suppliers to ensure alignment of technical requirements and production readiness
  • Support product lifecycle activities including design reviews, change management, and new product introduction
  • Contribute to platform-level innovation, including scalable electromechanical systems and precision docking/signaling solutions

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6-8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong expertise in mechanical design, including CAD (SOLIDWORKS) and FEA tools such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation
  • Deep understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis, with practical application in complex systems
  • Proven ability to solve complex component and subsystem challenges and lead design trade-offs
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and engaging with global supply base partners
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to document, present, and guide technical decisions


Additional Information

  • Familiarity with SEMI standards is a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to ~10%

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $100,000-$160,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
