The Opportunity

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will develop and manage the design and controls of cooling components and related systems for complex data centers. The incumbent will analyze the energy performance of each project and coordinate and support the commissioning process.

What you will do?
  • Understand mission critical construction industry protocols and troubleshooting support
  • Confer with engineers and design staff to interpret design concepts
  • Review all applicable documentation to determine designs
  • Perform calculations in preparation for designing products
  • Review documents, quotes, and drawings to create electrical and cooling designs
  • Revise drawings and designs based on change orders and client needs/requests
  • Prepare product reports by collecting and analyzing information

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Architectural Engineering; Master's preferred
  • PE certification required
  • CEM, LEED certification is a plus
  • 6+ years in design, project planning, construction and commissioning
  • Experience with HVAC Systems and Controls
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Procore
  • Proven experience leading design for multiple buildings
  • Experience and knowledge to select HVAC equipment
  • Possess an understanding of drawing and modeling organization
