Job DescriptionAs a Senior Materials Management Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing materials management processes to support our supply chain operations. You will analyze inventory levels, forecast material requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely availability of materials that meet customer demand and business objectives.
You will report directly to our Materials Management Manager, and you'll work 100% onsite out of our Columbus, OH location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain by improving inventory accuracy, reducing excess stock, and enhancing material replenishment strategies to support operational excellence within the Industrial Automation business.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to forecast material requirements and support supply chain planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance materials management efficiency and accuracy
- Review and adjust the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Rough Cut Capacity Plans, addressing changes in demand and supply requirements.
- Manage production orders, including Pull In's and Push Out's, while identifying and resolving capacity constraints and material availability issues.
- Collaborate with Supply planners, as well as Prod Marketing, to support new product introductions, promotions, and product lifecycle management.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters and material master data, actively participating in standard transition processes and the SIOP cycle.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply, such as OTFP, Site Inventory, and Past Due
QualificationsYou Must Have:- 5+ years of relevant experience in supply planning or operations.
- 5+ years of inventory control, material forecasting, and replenishment strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
- 5+ years working with ERP systems such as SAP for managing master data and materials planning.
- 5+ years analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- 5+ years collaborating efficiently with internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as necessary.
- 5+ years of demonstrated interpersonal skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities; English language proficiency is preferred.
We Value:- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience with SIOP processes, MRP, and production scheduling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in materials management.
- Rapid Response knowledge is a plus
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; a Six Sigma Lean Expert or advanced certification (APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF) is preferred.
