WhatYouDo:

The SeniorMarketingManager, Immuno-OncologyCongress, willbe responsible forstrategy and execution of IO congresspresenceacross tumors, includingmarketingcontent, sponsorships,and overall AZ presence.This role collaborates with cross-functional partners to implement effective market shaping activities. These efforts aim to drive commercial success across our IO franchise. The position involves leading and coordinating with both internal and external collaborators to ensure consistent key HCP promotions.

This position willreportintotheHead of Marketing andcan be remote orbased at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters for the Oncology Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of US IO presence at key oncology congresses including exhibits, symposia, sponsorship activation, omnichannel presenceand cross-functional planning

  • Support the creation of both branded and unbranded HCP campaign strategies to support key education initiatives with a focus on opportunities that enable us to orchestrate our campaigns across channels and functions

  • Coordinateboothcontent, design, approval, training, and onsitelogisticsin collaboration with Medical and Commercial teams.

  • Engagewith field teams tocapturelocalinsights informingpromotional messaging, tools, and resources

  • Manage partner agency relationships, workflow, and related project budgetstoensureeffectiveresource allocation(e.g.POs, invoices, etc.)

  • Collaborate with peer marketing leads across the US to improve strategic alignment and executional pull-through

  • Collaborate with legal, regulatory,medical,and compliance stakeholders to ensure development and execution of compliant marketing initiatives

  • Assistin the identification, evaluation, and adoption of new partnerships and technologies

  • Introduce creative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions to enhance congress impact.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

  • 3+ yearsexperience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: managed markets, brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, strategic planning

  • Experience with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) regulations,reviewsand processes

  • Strong organization and project management experience

  • High emotional intelligence with a collaborative, inclusive approach that drives team success

  • Experience building and integrating new capabilities that are relevant for brand success

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA in relevant field

  • Oncology or specialty care experience

  • Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Peer to Peer)

  • Product launch experience

  • Customer facing experience

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability toclearly and concisely communicate complex constructs

  • Outstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners, agencypartnersand budgets

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities and projects

  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues

  • Experience working closely with field sales organizations to implement sales or marketing programs with measurable business impact

  • Ability to lead without authority

  • High capability at working collaboratively, thinkingstrategicallyandoperatingeffectively in a rapidly evolving and competitivemarket place

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $151,081-$226,622. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
