Position SummaryThe Senior Marketing & Communications Business Partner serves as the primary strategic advisor for a defined MultiCare region, translating regional priorities into integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned with enterprise direction. Operating within a matrixed model, this role partners closely with regional executives, hospital leadership, and system marketing teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and effective execution across all marketing and communication efforts.
This is a senior individual contributor role that requires strong executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to lead complex initiatives through influence rather than direct authority.
Responsibilities:- Serve as a trusted marketing and communications advisor to regional and hospital leadership, supporting growth, access, and reputation priorities
- Translate regional business needs into clear, actionable marketing and communications strategies in partnership with system marketing and corporate communications teams
- Act as the primary connector between regional leadership and enterprise marketing functions, ensuring alignment with system priorities, campaigns, and governance
- Partner with service line and enterprise marketing leaders to align regional initiatives with broader strategic goals
- Apply market insight, competitive intelligence, and local context to inform recommendations and decision-making
- Guide planning, sequencing, and execution of marketing initiatives in collaboration with shared services teams
- Support key regional initiatives (e.g., service expansions, facility changes, community engagement) while ensuring brand consistency and adherence to enterprise standards
- Define and monitor success metrics tied to business outcomes, providing actionable insights to leadership
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or strategy
- Demonstrated experience leading integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies
- Strong executive communication, relationship management, and influence skills in a matrixed environment
- Healthcare experience preferred

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $119,828.80 - $172,432.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
