Full Job Description
The ScholarNet team is looking for a customer-focused, results driven individual to represent the ScholarNet products in the higher-education marketplace, help existing customer optimize their private loan processes, and engage with potential new customers. We have a highly successful and well-established product line positioned for growth with a great customer base. The right candidate must be customer-focused, an effective problem solver, and good relationship builder; driven to help customers become more efficient and streamline their processes. An ability to work independently and collaboratively to create marketing and sales plans for a defined territory is necessary. Must also be able to evaluate sales success and provide ongoing strategies and plans to ensure goals are being met.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement sales and marketing communications plans
2. Develop and maintain sales and marketing calendars for open opportunities in territory
3. Update and use of client relations management software
4. Prepare lead generation activities, retention initiatives, and customer acquisition strategies at conferences and events
5. Develop and cultivate school relationships for retention and sales activities
6. Develop and cultivate lender relationships for retention and sales activities
7. Assist with resolving customer concerns working with internal support to troubleshoot and communicate back to customer
8. Educate, implement and train current and new customers on products and services
9. Ensure continuity of brand and messaging across initiatives, brands, events, and conferences
10. Streamline and work closely with creative and production departments to achieve objectives
11. Develop relationships and consult with internal teams and customers to evaluate needs, assess competition, and develop creative strategy
12. Assist in measuring and reporting on key metrics to evaluate performance
13. Represent brand at state, regional and national conferences
14. Able and willing to travel during fall and spring peak conference seasons
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5-10 years of experience in financial aid or private loans.
- Sales and Marketing background preferred.

Compensation range for this role is $85,000 -$95,000 annually, plus sales incentives depending on experience.
