Full Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, systems, tooling, and equipment.
  • Identify and execute strategic initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, lead time, and overall operational performance.
  • Serve as the technical lead for manufacturing process development on new product launches, major engineering changes, and capacity expansion projects.
  • Develop manufacturing strategies that support business growth while maintaining high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in structured problem-solving activities using root cause analysis, A3 thinking, DMAIC, and other proven methodologies.
  • Evaluate, justify, and implement capital equipment and process improvement through ROI analysis and disciplined project management.
  • Establish and maintain manufacturing standards, work instructions, process documentation, PFMEAs, control plans, and assembly element details.
  • Provide technical mentorship and coaching to Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Technicians, Supervisors, and Production personnel.
  • Lead value stream improvement activities and support strategy deployment initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and cost optimization of new and existing products.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, develop corrective actions, and improve equipment and labor effectiveness.
  • Effectively facilitate Suggested Engineering Changes and Engineering Change Notices, ensuring timely implementation and minimal operational disruption.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Quality teams to resolve supplier, process, and product quality concerns.
  • Research and evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies, automation solutions, and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Support daily production operations by providing hands-on technical leadership and rapid resolution of manufacturing issues.
