As Senior Manager, Workforce Management, you will have the opportunity to build out the Workforce Management function. You'll own the enterprise Workforce Management strategy, leading Legion platform ownership, workforce optimization, labor model evolution, vendor partnerships, and operational adoption across our hospitals. You'll work alongside executives and frontline leaders alike, turning workforce data into business decisions while helping hospitals deliver exceptional care through smarter staffing and scheduling.

If you're energized by solving complex operational challenges, building scalable programs, and creating lasting organizational impact, this is an opportunity to shape the future of Workforce Management at VEG.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own VEG's enterprise Workforce Management strategy, including vendor management, optimization roadmap, and long-term workforce planning.
  • Partner with hospital leadership to improve scheduling effectiveness, labor utilization, workforce adoption, and operational performance.
  • Lead workforce optimization initiatives, including system enhancements, Time & Attendance strategy, workforce forecasting, and scheduling best practices.
  • Develop Workforce Management education that connects system capabilities with operational outcomes, increasing adoption and building trust across the organization.
  • Deliver actionable workforce insights by identifying trends, uncovering opportunities, and recommending proactive staffing and scheduling strategies.
  • Partner across Nursing Ops, MedOps, HR, Talent Acquisition, and People to continuously improve Workforce Management capabilities.

WHAT YOU NEED
  • Experience leading Workforce Management within a complex, multi-site organization.
  • Experience with enterprise Workforce Management platforms such as Legion, UKG, Kronos, or Workday.
  • Demonstrated success leading Workforce Management implementations, optimization initiatives, or enterprise workforce transformations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence everyone from frontline leaders to executives.
  • Experience developing labor models, workforce forecasting, scheduling strategy, or workforce analytics.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and building scalable operational capabilities.

WHO YOU ARE
  • Empathetic, instinctively taking a people-centric approach, whether supporting your colleagues or making an effort to understand different perspectives
  • Have a sense of humility; acknowledging mistakes, sharing credit with others, and lifting up your team's' accomplishments
  • Feel a strong sense of ownership over your work, taking responsibility for outcomes and staying committed to achieving long-term, impactful results
  • Curious by nature; you ask insightful questions and continuously seek out opportunities to learn and grow your skills and knowledge

HOW WE INVEST IN YOU
  • Competitive Compensation Including $140,000 - $160,000 base + bonus + benefits.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits that start on day one, and access to free therapy or counseling
  • Paid parental leave, up to 12 weeks at 100% of regular salary, and offering inclusive fertility and family-building care for all types of families
  • Unlimited PTO to use for vacation or sick days-however you need it!
  • Generous employee referral program, so our awesome people can bring in more awesome people.
  • And the little (big) things, like casual office attire, ability to bring your fur baby to work, cool VEG swag, food in the fridge for when you're hungry and free lunches twice a week!!
  • Company laptop and a monthly cell phone reimbursement
