What is the opportunity?

Senior Manager, Wealth Management Canada Finance - a strategic finance role supporting Dominion Securities Retail within WMC, Canada's largest full-service brokerage by AUA. As a trusted financial advisor and primary stakeholder contact, you'll drive proactive business partnership through comprehensive financial planning, forecasting, and driver-based analysis. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic business direction by delivering critical financial insights, process improvements, and actionable intelligence to executive leadership.

What will you do?
  • Build and cultivate strategic stakeholder relationships as the primary finance advisor for DS Retail, establishing yourself as a trusted partner in leadership decision-making
  • Lead proactive financial planning and forecasting initiatives, driving WMC-level analysis and key metric reporting that inform business strategy
  • Enhance financial analysis capabilities by developing advanced modeling and analytics frameworks that unlock deeper insights into business drivers and profitability performance
  • Conduct rigorous monthly financial analysis and variance reporting, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders
  • Champion process improvement initiatives through continuous enhancement of reporting methodologies, analytical tools, and financial systems optimization
  • Lead Quarterly Business Review preparation, synthesizing data-driven analysis into executive-ready intelligence
  • Support strategic projects and ad hoc requests with analytical rigor and proactive problem-solving


What do you need to succeed?
Must have:

  • Professional designations: CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, and reporting
  • Advanced analytical and strategic business acumen with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency translating complex data from multiple sources into strategic insights and key messages
  • Meticulous attention to detail ensuring accuracy and consistency in all financial outputs
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Advanced expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proactive, curious mindset with demonstrated commitment to continuous process improvement
  • Collaborative team player with independent initiative and positive "One RBC" orientation


Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of banking products, brokerage, and investment industry processes
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems (EPM/Cognos TM1, ADP)
