B/E Aerospace, Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace has an opening for a Senior Manager, Value Stream Management in Winston-Salem, NC. National and international travel around 5 times per year; international travel to include Europe (Northern Ireland, Ireland, EU - Germany/France/Poland) and the Philippines.

What YOU will do
  • Lead the aftermarket seating business and ensure operational readiness for spares and repairs.
  • Charter and lead the Service and Support Main Cabin seating Project Management Team (PMT) through complete product lifecycle.
  • Lead the PMT and work closely with the OE Business Unit to support new programs entry into service, addresses obsolescence, and drive customer satisfaction and business performance.
  • Support all interiors products worldwide, providing spares, repairs, cabin upgrades, field support, training, warranties, and customer service.
  • Work across all stages of the seating product lifecycle and interface with all areas of the business.
  • Develop and implement PRLPM requirements for Service and Support Seating business.
  • Develop and execute business plans to management obsolescence of legacy products.
  • Partner with the Commercial Seating & Furniture Business Unit to support new program entry into service.
  • Ensure global readiness to support new product entry into service.
  • Lead operational team to drive performance of repair business.
  • Drive resolution of customer issues and act as an escalation path.
  • Develop executive level communications and presentations for internal and customer reviews.
  • Champion continuous improvement, root cause corrective action plan, and RLPM processes.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field and at least 10 years of progressive experience as an Engineering Product Line Manager, Process Engineer, Value Stream Leader or related role. In the alternative, must possess at least a master's degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field and at least 7 years of experience as an Engineering Product Line Manager, Process Engineer, Value Stream Leader or related role would be acceptable.
  • Must possess at least 7 years of experience with the Development Lifecycle.
  • Must possess at least 7 years of experience creating integrated master schedule program management process.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience serving as a technical lead, interfacing with engineers, customers, vendors and other stakeholders on existing and potential aerospace products.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience implementing Enterprise wide and cross functional processes, guidelines, and archetypes to support a cross-matrixed aerospace business.

The salary range is $157,934.00 to $251,600.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
