Full Job Description
This is what you will do:

The Senior Manager, US Marketing, NMOSD will play an important role in the development and execution of key marketing initiatives for NMOSD, a rare, devastating, complement-mediated disorder of the central nervous system characterized by relapses. This role will work closely with the NMOSD marketing team and cross-functional partners to help drive patient and HCP tactics, support brand priorities, and ensure strong execution across initiatives. This position will report to the Executive Director, US Marketing - NMOSD.

You will be responsible for:

Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead specific projects and initiatives across patient and HCP tactics, with responsibility for day-to-day execution, coordination, and follow-through
  • Support the development and execution of NMOSD patient programming and webinars
  • Plan, prioritize, and monitor marketing materials through the internal Alexion approval process for commercial materials
  • Manage and track the NMOSD marketing budget, including coordination with agencies and vendors as needed
  • Drive cross-functional coordination with other Alexion line functions, including clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, and sales, focused on key customer segments
  • Contribute to tactical planning and prioritization in support of brand objectives and business needs
  • Manage external agencies and vendors on project execution, timelines, and deliverables
  • Use data, customer insights, and approved AI-enabled tools to support marketing planning, content development, and execution efficiency, in line with company policies and compliance requirements
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of Alexion staff and management
  • Work with a high degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company's policies and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct


You will need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry experience
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas and work independently when appropriate, in teams, and as a sub-team lead
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.


We would prefer for you to have:
  • Experience managing external agencies and/or vendors on a day-to-day basis and budget management
  • Experience supporting patient and/or HCP marketing initiatives
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in rare disease, specialty care, or neurology is a plus
  • Familiarity with digital tools, analytics, and approved AI-enabled tools used to support marketing execution


Certain activities may involve travel 30% of the time.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $115,795.20 to $151,981.20. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives-an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
