Full Job Description
This role is responsible for ensuring the full effectiveness of S&OP and S&OE processes across the entire U.S. organization. It involves defining, coordinating, and optimizing these processes in alignment with global directives and best-in-class industry benchmarks. As the subject matter expert in demand and supply planning, as well as financial forecasting, this position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence. It ensures that above supply chain processes support business priorities, strategic initiatives, and performance objectives. Additionally, the role oversees and strengthens supply chain health across all business units, delivering measurable improvements against all BUs and global supply chain KPIs. This role has a key commercial connection with all Business Unit teams and works closely with the Supply Chain Leadership Team to ensure that relevant supply chain choices are brought to leadership for visibility and decision making.

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP):
  • Owns as process owner the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, ensuring seamless alignment of demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management with overarching business objectives.
  • Defines and maintains the overall structure, processes, templates, and data cockpits within Power BI, ensuring standardized documentation across all Business Units (BUs). Establishes KPIs to measure process maturity, training effectiveness, and adherence rates.
  • Facilitates cross-functional meetings to balance supply and demand, resolve constraints, and drive stakeholder alignment, ensuring consensus-driven decision-making. Drives issue resolution.
  • Ensures calendar, meeting flow and templates are in place and that each meeting within the S&OP sequence adheres to established standards, with clear accountability and compliance with the RACI framework and follows Global meeting standards and policies.
  • Drives cross-functional collaboration, fostering knowledge-sharing and best-practice adoption across all BUs to continuously refine and enhance S&OP processes.
  • Identifies, monitors, and reports key business assumptions, risks, and opportunities, ensuring accountability for mitigation plans and strategic actions while escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Manages relationships and facilitates seamless information flow between S&OP functions and internal stakeholders, including Marketing, and Finance, Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, and Sales.
  • Implements and optimizes systems to automate and streamline S&OP communication and data integration between the U.S. Market, Plants, and Global Supply Chain, leveraging automation for efficiency.
  • Leads change management initiatives, driving process improvements, fostering organizational buy-in, and securing leadership support through coaching and mentorship.


Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE):
  • Owns the end-to-end S&OE process, ensuring seamless execution of short-term (0-3 months) demand and supply balancing to support business objectives and customer fulfillment.
  • Defines and maintains the structure, processes, templates, and real-time data dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to enhance visibility and responsiveness across the execution horizon. Establishes KPIs to track process efficiency, adherence, and performance improvements.
  • Leads cross-functional collaboration, facilitating real-time decision-making between Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to proactively address constraints, disruptions, and last-minute changes.
  • Ensures each S&OE meeting follows a structured cadence, with clear accountability, timely issue resolution, and compliance with the RACI framework and follows Global meeting standards and policies.
  • Monitors execution risks and opportunities, identifying deviations from the plan and ensuring corrective actions are taken to minimize supply chain disruptions. Drives and reviews what if/scenario planning analysis. Escalates critical issues to senior management for visibility and decision as necessary.
  • Strengthens communication and coordination between key stakeholders, including BUs, Customer Service, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to enable agile responses to market changes.
  • Implements and optimizes automation tools to streamline real-time data flows, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance visibility across the supply chain execution process.
  • Leads change management initiatives, driving continuous improvements in S&OE efficiency, fostering organizational alignment, and coaching teams on best practices.


Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 10 years+ of experience/exposure of S&OP/S&OE processes
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, planning & supply chain processes
  • Interpersonal & presentation skills, able to manage multiple projects and work with diverse teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams - Oracle Cloud ERP experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on continuous improvement and scalability.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • APICS/ASCM certification preferred.


This position is primarily office-based, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel up to 10-20% may be required to visit manufacturing sites, suppliers, or other company locations.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms.


About the Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $140,000 - $175,000.

In addition to base salary, we provide an opportunity to participate in an annual short-term incentive program that is based on corporate performance with a multiplier focused on individual performance.
