Click HERE for VideoJob Description:The Title V Senior Manager will be responsible for statewide leadership and coordination of the Department's administration of the Department's Title V Block Grant for the state of Georgia.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (overall tasks and expectations of the position):- Provides leadership and management for the administration of the Title V Block Grant for Georgia.
- Responsible for assuring compliance with the requirements of Title V Block Grant.
- Responsible for coordination of the annual HRSA grant review.
- Responsible for the development and submission of the Title V Block Grant applications, annual report, and five year needs assessment.
- Determines and monitors key performance metrics and long and short-term objectives.
- Responsible for efficient development and management funding allocations, grants, and contracts.
- Responsible for assuring compliance with state and federal requirements and guidelines through ongoing evaluation, oversight, and reporting.
- Provides ongoing coordination and monitoring to assure program timelines, reports, contract requirements are completed as required.
- Responsible for effective collaboration between Title V and other DPH Programs, public health districts, agencies, and partners.
- Responsible for supervision of staff.
Preferred Qualifications:- Masters of Public Health or similar
- Experience managing Federal Grants

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field which includes five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or nine (9) years of related professional experience which includes five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or five (5) years of experience required at the lower level Sr Mgr, Business Ops (GSM012) or position equivalent.--Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
