Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Technology Product Management leader to establish and lead a Business Analysis capability within Therapeutics Discovery Information Technology in Spring House, PA.

This role combines people leadership, capability development, and hands-on business analysis expertise. The successful candidate will build and lead a team of Business Analysts supporting a broad portfolio of scientific, digital, data, automation, and technology initiatives across Therapeutics Discovery.

This Business Analysis Practice Lead will define standards, ways of working, and talent development approaches while leading high-value business analysis engagements and partnering with scientific and technology leaders to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis Leadership
  • Establish and mature the Business Analysis capability within Therapeutics Discovery Information Technology.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead Business Analysts across multiple experience levels.
  • Develop and maintain standards, templates, methods, and best practices for business analysis activities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and professional excellence.
  • Align internal methods with relevant industry standards, frameworks, and professional communities.


Strategic Business Analysis
  • Lead complex, high-impact business analysis efforts across the Therapeutics Discovery portfolio.
  • Conduct discovery and assessment activities to evaluate opportunities, challenges, business needs, and technology investments.
  • Translate scientific, operational, and technical needs into actionable recommendations and delivery plans.
  • Support leadership decision-making through structured analysis and clear communication.


Stakeholder Engagement and Delivery
  • Partner with scientists, product teams, software development teams, data organizations, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate discussions that drive alignment, clarify requirements, and accelerate decision-making.
  • Lead process analysis, future-state design, requirements management, and solution definition activities.
  • Promote effective collaboration between scientific and technology organizations.


Portfolio and Capability Management
  • Maintain visibility across the Therapeutics Discovery Information Technology portfolio and align Business Analysis resources to priority initiatives.
  • Guide the use of internal and external Business Analysis resources.
  • Create sustainable approaches for retaining and reusing business knowledge across programs and projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement of business analysis capabilities throughout the organization.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, Management Consulting, Business Process Analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience building, leading, or maturing Business Analysis organizations, Centers of Excellence, or Communities of Practice.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving business and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes in complex organizations.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, research, or scientific organizations.
  • Experience working with laboratory, scientific, automation, data, artificial intelligence, or digital technology environments.
  • Experience with process modeling, requirements management, Agile delivery approaches, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Participation in relevant Business Analysis professional organizations, certifications, or industry communities.
