Job Description:The Senior Manager, Supply Chain serves as the enterprise owner of supply chain operating standards, performance frameworks, and continuous improvement strategy. This role is accountable for defining, governing, and advancing the end-to-end supply chain operating model to deliver sustainable performance, scalability, and consistency across the enterprise.
This leader operates as a central authority for supply chain process design, KPIs, and governance-driving adoption and ensuring alignment with business strategy. Acting as both a transformation leader and operational thought partner, the role requires strong decision authority, cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate strategy into enterprise-wide execution.
Success in this role is defined by measurable business outcomes, enterprise adoption of standards, and the ability to elevate supply chain maturity through disciplined execution, capability building, and continuous improvement.
Primary Duties Primary Responsibilities- Own and lead the enterprise Supply Chain Functional Excellence strategy, including standardization, governance, and continuous improvement across all supply chain functions.
- Accountable for enterprise operating standards across procurement, planning, logistics, manufacturing, and inventory management, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Define, deploy, and continuously improve enterprise-wide process design and KPI frameworks, ensuring alignment to business objectives and performance expectations.
- Lead supply chain transformation initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, digital enablement, and process optimization.
- Partner with Supply Chain Directors and functional leaders to identify performance gaps, root causes, and enterprise improvement opportunities.
- Establish and govern performance management systems, including KPIs, benchmarking, and maturity assessments.
- Ensure effective change management, communication, and sustained adoption of new processes, tools, and capabilities.
- Serve as the center of excellence (COE) leader for supply chain transformation and operational excellence practices.
Decision Authority- Final authority on supply chain process standards, methodologies, and operating models.
- Ownership of KPI design, performance frameworks, and reporting standards across the enterprise supply chain.
- Prioritize and approve transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Influence resource allocation and investment decisions related to supply chain excellence and capability building.
- Escalate enterprise risks, performance gaps, and corrective actions to senior leadership.
Enterprise Leadership & Scope- Acts as the enterprise owner of supply chain excellence, driving consistency and alignment across all business units and regions.
- Provides oversight and direction to functional strategies in partnership with Supply Chain Directors and senior leaders.
- Functions as a thought leader at the enterprise level, shaping the future-state supply chain operating model.
- Leads through influence across a matrixed environment, without direct authority over all functions.
Job RequirementsEducation and Experience Requirements: EducationBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field required. Master's degree (MBA or related advanced degree) preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification preferred.
Experience- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or logistics leadership roles. Proven experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide operating standards, KPI frameworks, and process governance models. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations. Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and change management methodologies. Experience with ERP and supply chain systems such as SAP or equivalent platforms. Demonstrated success influencing senior leadership and driving measurable business outcomes across multiple business units or locations. Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge- End-to-end supply chain operations (planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, inventory).
