Full Job Description
Position Overview:

DWT is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management to lead the company's supply chain and purchasing function. This leadership role will partner with senior management to develop and execute supply chain strategies to support critical business and customer performance objectives while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will oversee the procurement of materials and services essential to timely and efficient product delivery.

Key Job Duties:
  • Develop and implement complex integrated supply chain and operations strategies that cross a variety of inter-related programs to meet the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Goal Plan.
  • Proactively work closely with manufacturing, program management, quality, finance, programs, and engineering to ensure sources of supply are available to meet company objectives
  • Manage a team of supply chain personnel regarding their development and productivity for the program areas, which includes performing all reviews, staffing management, and personnel development.
  • Advise and direct other functions within the company to meet all material contract objectives (technical, cost, schedule, and quality.)
  • Manage on-time delivery (OTD) and quality performance. This includes supplier delivery and quality management using such tools as Recovery Plans, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Return to Green (RTG) plans, capacity plans, future contract delivery alignment, and management of the overall strategic relationship and workshare recommendations.
  • Support program acquisition and supplier strategies to support program plans and contracting while maintaining affordability with key responsibility for ensuring a delivery performance that meets our needs.
  • Oversee initiatives resulting in the continuous improvement of the supply chain through cost reduction, quality improvement, and lead-time reduction.
  • Achieve FAR/DFAR-compliant procurement processes.

Requirements:
  • BA in business management, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred, and MBA is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of experience with Management in Operations, Supplier, Subcontract, and/or Program Management experience a plus
  • Experience performing supplier assessments to mitigate risk, capture opportunity, manage qualified product delivery, and ensure the right resources are deployed on development and production programs.
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Experience with the financial impacts of decisions on the organization's budget and the program, including managing cost, schedule, and performance.
