What you'll do:

As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Engineering, you will lead strategic and operational initiatives that improve network performance, facility productivity, process standardization, and end-to-end supply chain efficiency. This role combines engineering, continuous improvement, and operational execution to optimize processes, labor productivity, material flow, space utilization, inventory movement, and service performance.

You will partner closely with operations, EH&S, transportation, inventory, procurement, IT, finance, and field leadership to design and implement scalable solutions that improve safety, cost, quality, throughput, and customer service.

  • Lead supply chain engineering and process improvement initiatives across branch and network operations
  • Design, evaluate, and improve branch and warehouse layouts, slotting strategies, pick paths, replenishment methods, dock flow, storage media, and material handling processes
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and other structured problem-solving methods
  • Identify and implement process changes that improve safety, quality, productivity, accuracy, capacity, and service levels
  • Develop labor standards, productivity benchmarks, engineered standards, and performance metrics to support operational excellence
  • Partner with operations leaders to assess current-state performance and prioritize improvement opportunities based on impact
  • Support capital planning and execution for automation, racking, conveyor systems, warehouse management tools, and other infrastructure investments
  • Lead time studies, workflow analysis, capacity modeling, and scenario planning to support near-term efficiency and long-term growth
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures, best practices, and process governance across the distribution network
  • Use data and analytics to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
  • Manage cross-functional projects from concept through implementation, including business case development, timeline management, stakeholder communication, and results tracking
  • Collaborate with technology teams on WMS, ERP, labor management, reporting, and systems enhancement initiatives
  • Support network design, facility start-ups, expansions, consolidations, and operational integration projects as needed

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field)
  • 7+ years of supply chain engineering experience (distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing)
  • Experience in network optimization and network design
  • Experience in distribution or fulfillment facility design
  • Experience evaluating and implementing automation solutions
  • Experience developing productivity rates, labor savings analyses and models, engineering standards, and process improvements
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in engineering economics, simulation modeling, business case development, statistical analysis, and advanced data analytics

Preferred:
  • Master's in engineering or MBA
  • Experience working in a performance excellence organization
  • Experience in value stream mapping
