JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager of Supply Chain leads and optimizes end-to-end supply chain functions supporting the manufacturing of fluid analysis instrumentation. This role is responsible for procurement, inventory control, and inbound/outbound logistics operations to ensure seamless material flow and on-time customer deliveries. This position drives global sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and logistics efficiency while balancing cost, quality, and working capital objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and execute supply chain and logistics strategies aligned with business and manufacturing objectives.
  • Oversee procurement and global supply planning for electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished goods.
  • Build, qualify, and manage a high-performing global supplier base to ensure quality, continuity of supply, and cost competitiveness.
  • Lead logistics operations, including all inbound and outbound shipments, carrier management, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Ensure efficient inbound receiving, inventory movement, and outbound shipping of finished goods and service parts.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable transportation, trade, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier quality and delivery performance issues; partner with Engineering to drive corrective actions.
  • Establish and optimize inventory strategies to support production continuity while achieving working capital and inventory turn targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Finance to resolve material and process issues.
  • Define, track, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, inventory turns, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy.
  • Champion Lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain and logistics team.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, as well as proven progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, and logistics within a manufacturing environment (instrumentation, electronics, or industrial equipment preferred).
  • Proven track record of executing strategic sourcing initiatives alongside hands-on operational leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in logistics management, including inbound/outbound transportation and freight optimization.
  • Experience supporting complex manufacturing environments involving engineered products or assemblies.
  • Demonstrated success in cost reduction, supplier performance improvement, and working capital optimization.
  • Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement expertise strongly preferred.
  • Strong ERP/MRP system experience; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
