Job Description:
Senior Manager, Strategic Programs 6 Global Trade Controls
The Global Trade Controls (GTC) organization is recruiting a Senior Manager, Strategic Programs based in New Brunswick, NJ, with consideration given at the discretion of the business to other J&J site locations within the US.
The Senior Manager is a member of the GTC Strategy & PMO team, reporting directly to the Director, Strategy & PMO. The Senior Manager will support the Director in driving strategic initiatives for GTC, while ensuring disciplined execution of these across a highly complex and regulated global environment.
The Senior Manager acts as an integrator across the GTC organization, and will support where appropriate connectivity with Supply Chain, Legal, Procurement, Quality, R&D, and Commercial teams. The position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and demonstrated experience navigating a matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities:Lead global strategic programs: Own and/or support end-to-end delivery of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives aligned to GTC9s multi-year strategic roadmap.
Manage program portfolio: Support the GTC Director Strategy & PMO in prioritizing, communicating, and governing a portfolio of initiatives, balancing risk, value, and resource allocation.
Execute transformation priorities: Drive and/or support as appropriate the delivery of global standards, strategic programs and process harmonization initiatives at scale.
Embed risk & compliance by design: Ensure programs incorporate trade controls, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation frameworks.
Enable executive decision-making: Provide concise, data-driven updates, risks, and recommendations to the GTC Leadership Team.
Lead change & adoption: Drive stakeholder alignment and adoption of new capabilities, reinforcing a culture of compliance and execution discipline
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor9s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Global Trade Compliance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in strategy development, business planning, PMO leadership in a global, matrixed organization.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence, with proven ability to influence senior leaders.
- Experience leading cross-functional programs with global scope and diverse stakeholder groups.
Preferred- Advanced degree (MBA, JD, Master9s in International Trade/Supply Chain).
- Experience within a regulated industry, particularly healthcare.
- Demonstrated proficiency with data analytics, performance dashboards, and structured problem solving.
- Experience leading global teams or virtual networks.
Other:This position is preferably located in New Jersey (New Brunswick office) with consideration given to other J&J sites located in the US. The position may require up to 25% domestic and international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00
