As Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives, you will partner with cross functional teams to deeply understand the Home Care business and effectively lead key strategic growth initiatives for the Home Care platform. Key strategic initiatives will include, but are not limited to, business transformation, commercial delivery models, key commercial launches, and process improvements. Candidates must report to the Covington, GA office.

BD Home Care Business

The Home Care business within BD is unique in that it can manufacture products for consumers in the home and service them through our medical distribution subsidiary, Liberator Medical. This business unit engages with a variety of stakeholders that range from B2B2C and leverages omni-channels to drive awareness, engagement, conversion, and retention of our customers. The mission of the Home Care business is to deliver clinically superior solutions for people with chronic bladder conditions in their pursuit of normality and independence. Solutions include both products and services to support customers through their entire journey.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and maintaining a 2-3-year strategic plan including long-term vision, goals and objectives
  • Building robust business cases for technology and operational transformation projects to gain investments needed for project implementation and prioritization
  • Translating strategy to an executable project plan for large cross functional teams
  • Building and leading cross functional project teams to ensure successful completion of projects, which may include process improvement and business transformation initiatives
  • Leading process and workflow mapping workshops across multiple groups with outputs of reduced complexity, improved quality, and more seamless customer experiences
  • Driving decision making through quickly understanding complexities, identifying opportunities, and applying best practices
  • Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, providing recommendations, insights and solutions to leadership on strategic direction
  • Developing and delivering executive presentations for buy-in and approval and updates
  • Develop trusting and collaborative relationships with executive leadership and cross functional team members
  • Have a deep understanding of key innovations / best practices to leverage
  • Partnering with data and analytics to understand KPIs to drive business strategy and ensure proper data are in place to measure performance
  • Supporting transition of management of the initiative to key business owners


About you: To be successful in this role, you require:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience leading large cross functional transformation projects successfully within budget and timeline
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in management consulting and or equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ years of working within or leading a PMO office
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, listening, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong leadership, group facilitation, emotional intelligence, and project management skills
  • Experience with successful implementations of complex initiatives with technology
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment a plus
  • Experience launching new products a plus
  • Demonstrates a consultative approach to problem solving
  • Can serve as the PM and manage the project end to end successfully
  • Is forward thinking and focuses on innovation and creative problem solving
  • Can build trust among the executive leadership and cross functional teams
  • Has the experience of managing both long term projects (12-18 months) and small projects.


ANCILLARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive and enable teams to establish and progress toward critical metrics to measure success-i.e. key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage vendor contracts, project budgets, and onboarding of new vendors
  • Develop and coach resources to gain new capabilities and skillsets to enable them to grow in their career
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement based on data and analytics and best practices, centered around improving customer experience and driving growth

Provides work direction plus has responsibility for hiring, promotions, transfers, performance management, discipline, and discharge.

Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates' progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.

$119,300.00 - 196,800.00 USD A
